Submission: Contributions should always be submitted in electronic form as Word documents and sent to dcir.nanjing@hotmail.com. Please do not utilize any formatting elements (headings, automatic numbering, auto-hyphening, indentation, etc).
Length of submissions: In terms of the length of submissions, authors should orient themselves on the Articles, Notes, Book Reviews and Conference Reports published in earlier issues of ZChinR.
Editing: The editors of ZChinR reserve the right to adapt the citation format and revise portions of the text where necessary.
As a rule, the Journal publishes only original contributions, but it may publish some reprinted or adapted publications on an individual basis. For these, the author shall provide any necessary releases of copyright.
Contributions represent solely the opinion of the author named and not necessarily that of the editors, the DCJV, the Sino-German Institute for Legal Studies of the Universities of Göttingen and Nanjing, or the MPI.
Copyright Notice
With the contribution’s acceptance for publication in the ZChinR, the author transfers to the DCJV, jointly with the Deutsch-Chinesisches Institut für Rechtswissenschaft and the MPI, an exclusive right of reproduction, distribution and making available for the public in the meaning of § 38 para 1 UrhG (German Copyright Act) for the duration of the copyright. This includes, in particular, the printing of the contribution in the paper version of the Journal, as well as its electronic publication in the internet, by the editors.
The author retains the right, one year after initial publication in the ZChinR and with explicit and conspicuous reference to the initial publication, to make the contribution available in an institutional repository of the author’s research facility or on the author’s personal homepage so long as it is not done for commercial purposes.
Additionally, the author retains the right to prepare single copies of the contribution and, for example, send them by post or e-mail, so long as this is done for the author’s personal use or that of academic colleagues.
