Language and Cognitive Science (LCS), published by SciScan Publishing Limited, is an international peer-reviewed journal, and it is sponsored by School of Foreign Languages and Cultures, Nanjing Normal University.
LCS publishes high-quality research from such fields and methods as functional and structural brain imaging, electrophysiology, computational modeling of language, language development and disorders, bilingual language acquisition and processing, biological foundation of language and neuropsychology of language and cognition. It is an interdisciplinary journal seeking to bring together such disciplines as linguistics, psychology, philosophy, neuroscience and cognitive science in general. Research published in this journal adopts an interdisciplinary and multi-methodological approach to the study of language, cognition and brain and their intersections. Scholars working in fields such as psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics, computer science, neuroscience and related areas are invited to contribute.
All submissions are expected to exemplify research clearly, that is, to integrate cognitive science and language science to answer key questions about the nature of language and cognition in the mind and in the brain.
LCS publishes two issues a year. The first Issue is published in London, April, 2015. All submissions should be sent to lcs_editor@126.com, LCS Editorial Office.
