Peer review
This journal operates a double blind review process. All contributions are sent to a minimum of two independent expert reviewers to assess the scientific quality of the paper. The Editor is responsible for the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of articles. The Editor's decision is final.

Ethics
Authors should observe high standards with respect to publication ethics as set out by the Commission on Publication Ethics (COPE). Falsification or fabrication of data, plagiarism, including duplicate publication of the authors’ own work without proper citation, and misappropriation of the work are all unacceptable practices. Any cases of ethical misconduct are treated very seriously and will be dealt with in accordance with the COPE guidelines.
Copyright
Upon acceptance of an article, an email will be sent to the corresponding author confirming receipt of the manuscript together with a ‘Journal Publishing Agreement’ form or a link to the online version of this agreement. Acceptance of the agreement will ensure the widest possible dissemination of information.
Permission of the copyright owner is required for resale or distribution outside the institution and for all other derivative works, including complications and translations (please consult lersurgery@srrsh.com). If excerpts from other copyrighted works are included, the author(s) must obtain written permission from the copyright owners and credit the source(s) in the article.

Open access
Every peer-reviewed research article appearing in this journal will be published open access. This means that the article is universally and freely accessible via the internet in perpetuity, in an easily readable format immediately after publication. The author does not have any publication charges for open access in 2023. Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine will pay to make the article open access.

Preparation of manuscript
Types of paper
Contributions falling into the following categories will be considered for publication: Editorial, Reviews Article, Research Paper, Case Report, Correspondence, Short Communication, Technical Note, Practice Guideline, Conference Report, Opinion Paper and so on. Please ensure that you select the appropriate article type from the list of options when making your submission.
Manuscript format and structure/style
Title page
A concise and informative title, author name(s), affiliation(s), and full address(es) of the authors must be included. The name and address of the corresponding author should be separately and clearly indicated along with email.
Abstract and key words
A maximum length of 250 words for the abstract is suggested. Avoid reference citations and abbreviations in the abstract. Below the abstract, authors should provide a list of 3-6 key words form the Medical Subject Headings of the Index Medicus.
Abbreviation
Define non-standard abbreviations at the first occurrence and ensure consistency of abbreviations throughout the article.
Artwork
Please use a common format for figures (PDF, TIFF, EPS, JPEG or MS Office files) and submit each figure as a separate, high-resolution file. Ensure that each figure has a caption. Supply captions separately. A caption should comprise a brief title and a description of the illustration. Table
Number tables consecutively in accordance with their appearance in the text.VideoPlease submit videos in the same way as a figure. All submitted files should be properly labelled so that they directly relate to the file's content. Acknowledgements and funding
Acknowledgements and details of funding sources should be included at the end of the text.
Reference
Indicate references by consecutive superscript Arabic numerals in order which they appear in the text. Reference should be formatted in AMA style at submission, authors are responsible for their accuracy.
