Med-X 期刊由上海交通大学副校长、讲席教授徐学敏及美国加州大学洛杉矶分校生物工程系主任、校长讲席教授李松共同担任主编。上海交通大学生物医学工程学院讲席教授郑诚功、长聘教授童善保、UCLA生物工程系副主任Dino Di Carlo教授担任执行主编。期刊组建了由全球一百多位顶尖科学家组成的编委和专业的编辑团队，包括二十多位海内外院士，拟打造世界一流科技顶刊，提升我国生物医学工程学科在全球的学术影响力和领导力。
Submission of a manuscript implies: that the work described has not been published before; that it is not under consideration for publication anywhere else; that its publication has been approved by all co-authors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities – tacitly or explicitly – at the institute where the work has been carried out. The publisher will not be held legally responsible should there be any claims for compensation.

Authors wishing to include figures, tables, or text passages that have already been published elsewhere are required to obtain permission from the copyright owner(s) for both the print and online format and to include evidence that such permission has been granted when submitting their papers. For authors that are (temporarily) unaffiliated we will only capture their city and country of residence, not their e-mail address unless specifically requested.
Large Language Models (LLMs), such as ChatGPT, do not currently satisfy our authorship criteria. Notably an attribution of authorship carries with it accountability for the work, which cannot be effectively applied to LLMs. Use of an LLM should be properly documented in the Methods section (and if a Methods section is not available, in a suitable alternative part) of the manuscript.
