Articles published in VRIH include
Review:A prospective thesis written by authors for a specific topic by compiling and organizing large amounts of data, material, and the leading viewpoints from original research papers. The length of these papers is around 20 pages, and authors are typically invited by the editorial board to write these. Experts wishing to write these can request to do so with the relevant editorial board.
Research paper: Scientific analysis and comprehensive research and elaboration of phenomena (or problems) in the research domain on the premise that researchers have a sufficient grasp of the academic, innovative, and scientific aspects of the field and on the foundation of scientific experiments (or trials) will be accepted for submission. In-depth research, summary and innovative results, and conclusions regarding these phenomena need to be included in such papers, which should not exceed 15 pages in length.
Rapid Communication: Rapid communications papers report on the final or interim results of the cutting-edge, latest, unique, or significant scientific research topics in the field of virtual reality and smart devices. Papers should not exceed four pages, and priority will be given for publications.
Case report: Reports of representative experiments, inventions, or results.
News: Publication of news and communications of reports on research findings, policies, people, etc., to become a window for the reader to understand industry information. Academic journals, academic conferences, press conferences, and results evaluation can be used as sources for science and technology news.
Commentary:Experts are invited to write a commentary according to the topic. These papers include commentaries, editorials, short reviews, brief comments, guest commentaries, letters, etc.
VRIH articles are published directly on line, together with complete publishing information concerning page, issue, volume and DOI.
How to submit
Authors are recommended to use online submission services. To submit a manuscript, please go to http://www.vr-ih.com or https://www.editorialmanager.com/vrih/default.aspx to create an account, and follow the instructions there to upload text and image/ table files. Authors are encouraged to submit such accompanying materials as short statements on the research background and area/subareas and significance of the work, and brief introductions to the first and corresponding authors including their mailing addresses with post codes, telephone numbers, fax numbers, and e-mail addresses. Authors may also suggest several qualified experts (with full names, affiliations, phone numbers, fax numbers, and e-mail addresses) as referees, and/or request the exclusion of some specific individuals from potential referees.
Reviewing policy
All submissions will be reviewed by referees selected by the editorial board. The decision of acceptance or rejection of a manuscript is made by the editorial board based on the referees’ reports. The entire review process may take 90 days, and the editorial office will inform the author of the decision as soon as the process is completed. If the editorial board fails to make a decision within 90 days, it is up to the authors to decide whether they would withdraw their article and submit it elsewhere.
